CleanCounts (formerly M-RETS) is seeking a QA Automation Engineer (Level III or IV) to join our growing technology team. This role is focused on building and operating reliable automated testing for a mission-driven platform used by Fortune 25 companies, utilities, and regulators. The ideal candidate is strong in test automation and comfortable doing hands-on exploratory/manual testing when it’s the fastest path to clarity.
You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and analysts to prevent regressions, accelerate delivery, and increase confidence in releases. If using modern tooling (and AI) to build high-signal test systems that support decarbonization excites you, we’d love to meet you.
M-RETS, a 501(C)(4) non-profit, which recently rebranded to CleanCounts, owns and manages a renewable electricity certificate and thermal certificate tracking system. Our platform is the leading renewable certificate tracking system and is used by Fortune 25 companies, utilities, and regulators. We have over a decade of rich industry data that increases each year. We want to continue to deliver a strong platform and keep ahead of changes in the energy industry via innovative and useful features to support our organizational goal of growing our sophistication as a data organization.
Our teams are a mix of local and remote team members from mostly North and South America. For our Minneapolis team, we have regular 9–5 working hours and keep a hybrid workplace where team members come in a couple of times a week and collaborate. We have a cozy office in a great space in downtown Minneapolis, close to Nicollet Mall and the light rail, with amenities like a gym and bike storage area.
