Position Overview

Are you a driven Quality Engineer passionate about building the future of testing? We are seeking a creative and hands-on QE to be a key contributor to our quality practice. This is an exciting opportunity to move beyond traditional QA and dive into the world of AI-driven testing, helping us build and maintain robust quality standards for our mission-critical intelligent applications that are redefining customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java and Python. Write clean, efficient, and scalable automation scripts for new features to ensure robust test coverage across all deliverables.
• Perform API testing: Understand API concepts, develop and execute functional tests, interpret Swagger YAML files, and validate endpoints using Postman or Rest Assured automation frameworks.
• Conduct database testing: Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve, update, and delete data, ensuring database integrity and reliability.
• Own quality for assigned features and components: Collaborate with product managers and developers on requirements analysis, create detailed test cases, execute comprehensive test suites (functional, integration, regression), and provide final quality sign-off.
• Track and report testing progress: Use tools such as JIRA, ADO, or ALM for defect logging and reporting, ensuring transparency of feature quality to the team and stakeholders. Also understanding of CI/CD co

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent field. - Required,
• 3+ Years Experience developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases. - Required,
• Create and execute test cases; prepare test setups,
• Conduct regression testing and log/report defects,
• Research/resolve basic production support cases,
• Engage with development for clarifications and issue resolution,
• Use AI tools for basic tests creation, documentation, and analysis,
• Programming or scripting experience (Java, Python, JS, C#, or similar),
• Automation tools/frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, REST-Assured, JMeter, etc,
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing lifecycle, and SDLC,
• Agile methodology, DevSecOps exposure along with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.,
• SQL proficiency; ability to test web apps, APIs, and systems with minimal UI,
• Experience with JIRA/ALM/Xray or similar tools,
• Comfort using AI-powered testing tools, copilots, and analysis utilities,
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills,
• Ability to manage workload, collaborate in Agile teams, effectively, and work independently,
• (Desirable) Knowledge of QA concepts and test lifecycle,
• (Desirable) Basic SQL; familiarity with ALM/JIRA,
• (Desirable) Basic understanding of mobile development languages (Java/Objective-C/Swift/C#),
• (Desirable) Strong ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines

Qualifikation

Du:

bist seit mindestens 4 Jahren im Bereich Software Testing / QA tätig?

hast fundierte Erfahrung in Testautomatisierung (z. B. mit Cucumber, Playwright, Selenium oder Cypress)?

kennst Dich mit Testframeworks und BDD/TDD-Ansätzen aus?

hast Erfahrung mit API-Testing (z. B. REST, Postman, REST Assured)?

hast idealerweise eine ISTQB-Zertifizierung (Foundation oder höher)?

bringst Erfahrung in CI/CD-Pipelines (z. B. GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) mit?

kennst Dich mit Cloud-Umgebungen (AWS, Azure oder GCP) aus?

hast ein gutes Verständnis für Softwareentwicklung (z. B. Java, JavaScript oder Python)?

bist kommunikationsstark und arbeitest eng mit Dev-Teams zusammen?
