This position functions as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) As a Senior SDET within PNC’s Consumer Lending Originations Technology organization, you will play a critical role in leading quality strategy and test automation for large scale, enterprise initiatives. This role is ideal for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who combines strong technical depth with hands on leadership, modern automation practices, and banking domain expertise. This position will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, OH; Birmingham, AL; or Dallas, TX. This role is responsible for owning and driving the quality engineering strategy for complex, distributed systems supporting consumer lending and banking platforms. The successful candidate will lead test automation, influence architectural quality decisions, and ensure that testing is deeply embedded into CI/CD pipelines across multiple teams and programs. You will partner closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders, mentor junior Quality Assurance engineers, and act as a quality leader for large scale initiatives that span multiple applications and technologies.
