About the Opportunity
Aberdeen Advisors is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team supporting a leading healthcare organization\'s product engineering initiative. In this role, you\'ll lead automation efforts for integration and regression testing of critical clinical applications built on .NET technology. You\'ll leverage your expertise with modern testing tools like Selenium, Appium, and Cypress to create scalable test automation solutions. A critical aspect of this role involves implementing sophisticated test data management strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage across complex healthcare scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for integration and regression testing
• Lead test automation strategy for home-grown .NET clinical applications
• Implement effective test data management solutions and strategies
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution
• Develop and execute test plans that ensure comprehensive coverage of application functionality
• Mentor team members on test automation best practices
• Evaluate and recommend testing tools and technologies
• Create detailed documentation for test processes and frameworks
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide testing expertise to development teams
• 5+ years of experience as an SDET or in similar test automation roles
• Strong proficiency with at least one modern test automation tool (Selenium, Appium, Cypress)
• Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Solid understanding of test data management principles and techniques
• Knowledge of .NET applications and testing methodologies
