Job Description: The Innovation Lab at Securian Financial, a fortune 500 financial services firm based in downtown St. Paul, is looking to hire an QA Automation Engineer. This person will be hired and onboarded by the Innovation Lab and will be embedded onto the Benefit Scout team to lead test automation. Job duties: Working on Automation testing with WebDriverIO similar to Protractor, NightWatch ( which sits on top of Selenium) Identify the elements on the UI using name, xpath, css and Id locators Create feature files in cucumber framework by using Gherkn language Create Given, When, Then blocks and files and configure them in default.cong.js file Analyze the specs, junit, allure and json cucumber reports after the automation script execution Working on MEAN stack applications which is written by JavaScript language for UI path. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilitites and requirements within automation JavaScript based framework. Set up CucumberOpts blocks in conf.js file after Given,When, Then scripts are written Create either anonyms function or non-anonyms function to create reusable methods to make call them through spec .JS file and make the code more efficient. Find the bugs and follow software bug life cycle and should give a approach the solve the problem from testing perspective and communicate with developers and business team Demonstrate knowledge of QA processes and controls for manual testing Install Appium, WebDriverIO, NodeJS, Android SDK, JDK on Windows machine and set up variables Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of framework design and execution within time and cost contraints Test the user stories on the mobile app and write automation scripts when features are done Work with business team to get user stories ready and execute it with WebDriverIO, cucumber Framework after analyze the user stories and test it.
