5+ years in Test Automation Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks using modern tools and technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of both UI and API test automation, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using industry best practices. Automate test cases for web and API applications using Playwright, Selenium, and Cucumber. Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Manage and optimize project builds with Maven and Gradle. Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and product teams to ensure end-to-end test coverage. Troubleshoot automation failures and continuously improve test reliability and execution efficiency. Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning sessions. Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience in software test automation. Strong proficiency with Playwright for web automation (mandatory). Solid experience with Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle. Proven ability to design and implement custom automation frameworks from scratch. Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Must be willing to work on-site 5 days a week at the Washington, D.C. or Tysons, VA location. Preferred Qualifications Experience with REST API
automation and reporting tools (e.g., Allure, Extent Reports). Knowledge of cloud-based testing solutions or containerized test execution (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with
