The QA Automation Engineer with Playwright expertise will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web applications using the Playwright framework. This role involves ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of software products through comprehensive testing and collaboration with development teams.
• Pay Rate: Up to $35.00/hour, depending on experience.
• Assignment Length: 12-month contract with the high possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and other factors.
• Shift Details: Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across various browsers and platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and ensure testability.
• Identify, log, track, and report software defects with clear and concise documentation.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the test automation framework.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Participate in code reviews of test scripts to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in test automation and Playwright.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and defect status to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Must be local in Tulsa, OK.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years experience in IT.
• Proven experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for creating and executing automated tests.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, API interactions).
