What you'll do:
A QA Automation Engineer is needed with a strong focus on Cypress, Cucumber, and JavaScript to deliver reliable and maintainable UI automation at scale. This role is responsible for building end-to-end and regression test suites using Gherkin scenarios and reusable step definitions to improve coverage and overall confidence in product quality. The engineer will reduce flaky tests through the use of stable selectors, effective synchronization strategies, and robust test data management. They will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast feedback, clear reporting, and consistent release readiness. Additionally, this position supports cross-browser and legacy automation needs using Selenium and Java where Cypress is not the optimal fit.
Responsibilities:
• Design, maintain, and extend a Cypress + Cucumber (JS) automation framework to improve coverage and reliability.
• Develop and optimize end-to-end and regression suites with readable Gherkin scenarios and reusable step definitions.
